Who are we?
Background: Having been brought up on the 50' Bristol Channel pilot cutter Hirta, built 1911, Hannah went on to sail many other traditional vessels for pleasure and now represents the Old Gaffers Association on the Heritage Afloat committee. She has a Masters in Maritime History and works as a self employed researcher. Hannah specialises in maritime subjects and has been involved with many interesting projects, ranging from research into shipwrecks, boatyards, individual vessels, merchant seamen and naval ancestors to company histories or shipping lines.
